SPACE TECH EXPO RETURNS TO LONG BEACH, CA

Space Tech Expo USA returns to Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. We invite you to join us this year in California, boasting the highest number of Aerospace Engineers of any state, where the space community will have the chance to connect and do business in the sunny space industry hub of LA. 

VISITING LONG BEACH

We hope our attendees will enjoy all that the waterfront destination of Long Beach has to offer. Long Beach is pedestrian and bicycle friendly and is ranked as one of the most walkable large cities in the US by WalkScore.com. Within an 8-block area surrounding the Convention Center you will find attractions, shopping, entertainment, nightlife and more than 120 quality restaurants serving cuisines from around the world.

Long Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau have set up a “Show Your Badge” program which has plenty of offers and discounts at various local businesses including entertainment, dining, shopping and other attractions.

In addition to the above, one of the major attractions in Long Beach is the Aquarium of the Pacific and the Aquarium has a great “show your badge” offer. The 2022 offer is $18.00 after 12pm which is a nice savings off of the $36.95 regular general admission.

PARKING, DIRECTIONS AND TRAVEL 

The Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center has more than 4,000 parking spaces around the Center in three parking garages and one ground level parking lot: 

The closest garage for Space Tech Expo is the Promenade Parking Garage off Pine Avenue and Bay Street. It is open for conventions, tradeshows and events and has 420 spaces. 

The second closest garage is Terrace Theater Parking Garage off Collins Way (800 parking spaces). 

The Arena Parking Garage is open for conventions, tradeshows and Arena events and has 1,460 spaces. 

The Main Parking Lot along Shoreline Drive has 1,500 spaces. 

Parking is $15 per car per entry to any of the Center's lots. Rates are in effect seven days a week. 

From Los Angeles International Airport: 

Take the San Diego Freeway (405) south to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot, or as advised by directional signage. 

From Long Beach Airport: 

Take Lakewood Boulevard south to the San Diego Freeway (405). Take the San Diego Freeway (405) north to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot, or as advised by directional signage. 

From the John Wayne (Orange County) Airport: 

Take the San Diego Freeway (405) north to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot or as advised by directional signage. 

From Southern Orange County: 

Take the Santa Ana Freeway (5) north to the San Diego Freeway (405). Take the San Diego Freeway (405) north to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot or as advised by directional signage. 

From North Orange Country and the Valleys: 

San Gabriel & Pomona Valleys take the Orange Freeway (57) or San Gabriel Freeway (605) to the Riverside Freeway (91) to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot or as advised by directional signage.
